Manleluag Spring Protected Landscape, a popular national park, is plagued by houseflies, discouraging visitors and threatening the local tourism industry's viability.
The situation has become untenable. It is imperative for the local government and the national government to take immediate action. We call upon the relevant authorities to enforce stricter regulations on waste management at these farms to mitigate the foul odors and control the fly population and strict sanitary measures. Implementing regular inspections and fines for non-compliance can be effective measures to ensure these farms are held accountable.
